TI is a field of technology management and includes a variety
of fields including but not limited to such things as processes, computer
software, information systems, computer hardware, programming languages, and
data construction. In short, what makes the data, information or knowledge that
is felt in any visual format, through any mechanism multimedia distribution,
are considered part of IT. IT provides businesses with four sets of core
services to help run the business strategy: business process automation,
providing information, connecting with customers, and productivity tools.
TI performs various functions (IT Discipline / Competence)
of the application to install a computer network design and database
information. TI do several tasks may include data management, networking,
engineering computer hardware, database and software design, as well as
management and administration of the overall system. Information technology
began to spread further than conventional personal computer and network
technology, and more into the integration of other technologies such as the use
of mobile phones, televisions, cars, and many more, which increases the demand
for jobs.
In the past, the (Accreditation Board for Engineering and
Technology) and the Association for computing machinery have collaborated to
form accreditation and curriculum standards [4] for degrees in Information
Technology program as a field of study compared to [5] with the Computer
Science and Information Systems. SIGITE (Special Interest Group for IT
Education) [6] is the ACM working group for defining these standards. IT
services revenue worldwide of $ 763 billion in 2009.
